The Mission of the Barnabas is to extend God’s love to visitors and new members by creating a spirit of welcome at the door.  To respond to their informational and relational needs as a first step in helping people find a place at Brown before they get discouraged and leave.   This is accomplished through teams of members that perform the welcome, phone visitation, and reception related activities.  We also seek to encourage all who need it.
